When we were born, we were in perfect harmony with our heart and the world. When we enter this world, we don't have anxiety, depression and stress. Through the process of growing up and trying to function in this world according to societal expectations and norms, we distance ourself from that perfect resonance of peace.

Return to InnocenceThe spiritual journey is about making our way back to our innocence so we can connect with the peace that existed when we started. The distortion we have is that we believe when life is better on the outside, only then we will feel peaceful on the inside. We barter and negotiate with life – “When xxx happens, then I will feel happy, fulfilled, relaxed, peaceful. And so, we give away our power. For as long as this is the process, we will elude peace.

Does life rob you of peace or can you find your way back to experiencing the messiness of life from a place of peace? By messiness, I'm referring to the frustration of drivers on the road, to things not going according to plan, to life not working out the way you expect it to. Can you embrace all of it from a place of peace? When we learn how to do this, we start to become peaceful, and so we become beacons of peace for the world. The heart of you is peace! This is a genuinely power-full truth. Peace does not come from the outside. We are peace. We are love. We are light. However, there are many things that can take that peace away from you; family, work, health problems... Some factors can't be prevented, but you should focus on the ones you can control. For instance, supplement from Kratommasters.com provide the nutrients your body needs to live a healthy life, and if you're healthy you will have the strength to fight any other problem life throws at you.

And of course just as important: you have to watch for your own well being, you personal health. I try to exercise as regularly as possible, and watch what I eat. I even take a health

The world at the moment is desperate for peace, and our natural instinct is to fight for what's right, but the very nature of this (even for the light workers) is still fighting. And the fight in itself is the problem. Can you be at peace with what is there? Can you BE peace, so that everybody that experiences you feels peace? Even peace when there is anger, peace when there is hatred, peace when there is drama.

When we show up to fight, even if it's fighting for what's right, it just doesn't help. Fighting and peace are not the same energy.

So, the change happens when each of us embrace peace as our center. Then we become peace and can distribute peace.

An essential boundary we need is not to let anyone, anything or any concept rob us of our Be Peacepeace. Nothing deserves that power. The author of Man's Search for Meaning Victor Frankl, a famous psychiatrist who endured Auschwitz, the horrific German concentration camp, a place of torture, suffering and death, said, “They took my clothes, my wife, my kids, my wedding ring. I stood naked before the SS, and I realized they can take everything in my life but they cannot take my freedom to choose how I will respond to them.” Many have captured this quote in the statement, "They can't make me hate them." For me, Frankl was a great teacher of peace when faced with unrelenting hardship and cruelty.

Through peace, we can spread light in the world.

We tend to fear heartbreak; we protect ourselves from feeling anything that may prompt us
into a feeling of losing control. A place one of my clients calls "the hot sticky mess." We evaluate and judge some emotions as good and some as wrong. All emotions inform us of our truth. Emotions are the wisdom of the heart. We cannot honour our hearts if we only allow ourselves to feel certain things. The societal and internal pressure to be strong, to cope, to always be in control robs us of our gentleness and our compassion. When something traumatic happens, often the advice given by so many is to stay strong, to be strong. I find this well intended loving advice sad in a way. When we are vulnerable, we find new strength and resilience that can help us heal. We ARE strong, feeling the waves of emotions that help us heal is not weak. It takes courage.

Let yourself feel the painSo many of my clients and myself find coping mechanisms to suppress the pain, the heartbreak, the disappointment, the anger, the grief. Coping robs us of the experience of our suffering, and so we can stay stuck repeating patterns and responding to old hurt for many years (even lifetimes), a lot just hide their emotions to not overcome them, sometimes they use unhealthy habits to forget, they pull out of the family to not comprehend or just use their time in other things to suppress their feelings, like online gaming or virtual games that immerse you in an other environment and let you interact with another reality, you can Visit Our Website
to understand a little more.  Finding a safe space to express our feelings whether it be with a therapist, a healer, a friend, a journal is critical to our healing. Processing our feelings requires patience, gentleness, and safety. It demands that we allow ourselves to move through it. Having a good cry, vent or outburst can do wonders for the soul. The challenge is not everyone can support us through this journey. Many of us are unable to witness someone else's pain without trying to make them feel better. We respond to the pain from a place of fear and want to fix it and make it go away. Processing requires us just to feel it, feel it until you no longer do. A process I refer to as moving through the eye of the needle to the other side. It will pass and the journey will provide you with new insights, perspectives, and tools. So many of us apologise for our feelings, for our expressions, for our vulnerability. We hide it, and we hide from it. The process of experiencing our truth through our emotions is a vital part of the healing process.

Permission to experience our emotions does not mean letting our emotions lead. Having an emotional outburst at work or in the middle of a shopping center may not help, although this is frequently what happens when we do not honor ourselves with space and time to witness and process our emotions. Creating space and time to acknowledge your feelings in your life is vital to your healing. Whether this is while you meditate, write in your journal, have a long bubble bath, go to a therapist, healer or on workshops or with friends that can hold the sacred space for you, the important part is to make time and space to be with your emotions. To feel them, to express them, to honor them with love and compassion. When we suppress our emotions, we go numb. This numbness, unfortunately, works with all emotions. If we suppress our pain, our anger, our anxiety, our fear we also numb ourselves from our joy, our gratitude, our elation, our happiness. It goes together. We can't choose to feel some and not the other.

Another way we interrupt this process is with analysis. We want to answer the question why. Our search to understand can often make us think we have processed something but the pain still exists. I have seen this with so many clients that have experienced and survived abuse. They have analysed and got very clear as to why the other person abused them and even may have forgiven and discovered empathy for the individual. But, they have not stepped into their pain, anger, insecurity, fear, sadness, etc. about what happened to them and the understanding can even make you feel more guilty about how you feel.

No matter what happens or why it happens, your truth of the experience lies in your feelings about it and this needs to be allowed a voice for you to honor yourself in your life. Please never apologise for how you feel no matter how invalid or unjustified it may seem. Healing happens when you can reflect on your truth and surrender into the wisdom it offers you, even if the wisdom is that your expectations are unrealistic, you cannot change them if you have not allowed the emotions a voice to explain their purpose in your life.

So, bring your emotions close. Get intimate with how you feel. Don't judge Step forward with gracethem and be smart enough not to act on them in the moment but ask them for the wisdom they have for you. Every emotion brings you closer to your truth. Lovingly give your emotions space to offer you a view of your experience and then you can choose to act with wisdom. Emotions are not instructions to act, but they are clues to your deepest truth and with awareness your choices become different. When suppressed you remain closed to the wisdom, when acted on immaturely you may find yourself in unexpected situations but with exploration, reflection, curiosity and love your emotions help you heal. Once you know this, then you can embrace that emotions are not something to be feared and your vulnerability becomes a source of great power and strength.

An excerpt from my free e-book 7 Tips on How to Surrender to your Soul. Click here to get it delivered to your inbox today.

Imagine the Universe presents itself as ever expanding layers of consciousness. Spiritual growth is transcending from one level of consciousness to the next. These levels are not definitive or comparative with anyone else. You cannot say I am on level 4, and you are on level 2 for example. Your karmic triggers for this life define the levels of consciousness that you are dealing with, and so it is unique for each person. The focus is more about what you need to come to terms with for your level of consciousness and your level of growth. All this is so you can expand to your next level of consciousness for you.

Your expansion relates to your Soul calling and what you most want to experience in this lifetime. As a Soul, this is not your first life. You have been expanding as Soul for many lifetimes and potentially even got stuck on a level for some of those. So, you scripted the blueprint for this life. You plotted the lessons you still want to learn, the gifts you want to unleash, the karmic cords that you want to balance, the contracts you want to fulfill, the pain you want to heal, the obstacles you want to overcome. All of this provides insight into the particular challenges you face in this life.

Ego growth is interested in levels. It asks which level am I on and is that better or worse than yesterday or compared to someone else. The Ego strives to be "there" but there is no "there". The Ego thinks of spiritual growth like passing school. Which grade am I in, what do I need to learn, did I pass the test, am I better than the person next to me. The Soul doesn't work like that. It is a heart expansion. It's a peace expansion, a joy expansion. It asks do I feel lighter? Do I feel more peaceful? Am I more joyful? Am I more loving? It is never ending. It is about moving closer and closer to light, to Source, to Divinity and each of our paths is different to get there.

shutterstock_103673054The layers of consciousness expand up with the highest level being closest to Source, closest to
Divinity. The most aligned with God. Every Souls expansion is to become more and more like the God-like energy of Source. To expand to a place of unconditional love. It is the journey of creating heaven on earth. The opportunity of a human life is to achieve more love, more peace, more joy. To create more love, more peace, more joy. As we have free will, part of the challenge is making the choice to spiral up into the light because we have an equal opportunity to spiral into shadow.

Shadow includes hatred, judgment, fighting, hurting each other and beautiful Mother Earth. The layers going up are layers of consciousness to light and the layers going down are layers of consciousness to shadow. We may get stuck at one level, and we can also spiral into darkness. We all ride the spiral of choice between light and shadow each moment of each day. Our life is not a test but an opportunity, and there is no measure at the end of this life as to whether we did it right. When we return home, there is a chance for reflection, healing, perspective and learning. Heaven and hell are man-made egoic concepts experienced more during life, than in death.

If you want to understand which level of consciousness you are in without giving it a number and a comparison to anything else, the thing to look at is your triggers. Your triggers are the clues to the karmic things you are here to resolve. Examples of triggers include (but this is by no means an exhaustive list) racism, poverty, religion, spirituality, power, authority, selfishness, under-responsibility, etc. Anything that is a trigger for you is always the clue to your karmic path. Once you have found peace with whatever triggers you, you grow. You are not here to fight that issue; you are here to come to a level of peace about the very thing you resist. So surrender is how you come to peace with that which you don't like. That's your Karmic journey, and that's why each of our journeys to Soul expansion is different.

So, what are your triggers?

Focus on the following question - How do I come to peace with ............. ? This can help you identify your karmic areas of expansion. Make a note of them. Be gentle with your awareness, offer yourself the chance for growth without judgement and/or justification.

If we spiral through these levels of consciousness, then the question is what is the path to help us expand from one level of consciousness to another. How do we move from one level to the next? There are seven key elements to spiritual growth, healing, and transformation. As nothing in Universal consciousness is linear, view these as interactive elements rather than sequential steps; however all seven elements need to be present in some form or another for growth.

ACCEPT – Can you embrace reality for what it is?

TRUST – Do you have faith that all is exactly the way it is supposed to be?

EMBRACE – Can you own the part you play in co-creating this reality?

LOVE – Can you find compassion, love and kindness for yourself and others?

RELEASE – Are you willing to face your truth and deal with how you feel about something?

CONNECT – Do you allow yourself to receive support, love and guidance?

EXPAND – Are you brave enough to make new choices and try something new?

These can be used to deal with a specific issue, event or concept. They can also become a general state and approach to life.

Surrender Spiral

Each of these elements are significant and complex in their paradoxes and nuances and expanded on and form the basis of the seven tips for my free e-book - 7 Tips on How to Surrender to your Soul.

The way we approach our life and events in our life gives us the opportunity to live a life of peace, love, joy and optimism or to feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, aggressive and defeated. Understanding what informs our choices and healing from our pain, both from this lifetime and past lifetimes gives us the opportunity to grow. None of us are perfect (thank goodness), and this journey is not one that has an end point. As we expand through one level of consciousness, so we will face another trigger, and so the journey continues.

The diagram below shows the elements to choose a life of growth and light, the elements that contribute to staying stuck and the elements to spiral into darkness. None are right or wrong; this is not a model to evaluate success or failure but something that can provide new insights and new choices.

Spirals Labeled

Each of us spirals up and down continuously. Every morning we get up,and we have an opportunity to choose again. I have never met anyone that wants to spiral into darkness. Intention is never the problem. We may just not know any better and still have some karmic ties that need resolution. We are always doing the best we know how to do!

The World (or group) consciousness also affect us. The world is currently in a significant transition period where more and more people are choosing love and peace over power. If you are reading this book, then it's likely you want to be a part of creating more love and peace in the world.

The change starts with you!

Sending love

10635914_864680473590179_2416698303421275303_nSo many of us are so good at giving, at helping others, at supporting and at caring. However this can be a way of controlling and keeping our own vulnerability hidden. The ability to receive is far harder than the ability to give. How open are you to receiving compliments, gifts, help, support, guidance, love, feedback.

This is for many of us a stretch and a lesson in our own personal growth.

It's also critical that we don't view giving and receiving as a quid pro quo game. That means we don't try and balance the scales each time we receive. When we view giving and receiving as transactions that need to be balanced against each other we miss the abundance that the Universe has for us.

So for today be open to receive. It is safe. You deserve it.

10915176_866815173376709_4104930964361402383_nTrust is such a difficult concept and we use it as a benchmark in our relationships, environments and choices we make. Choosing to trust empowers you to be make to make better choices as the choice is not from a place of fear and protection but from a place of true personal power.

This is not saying trust blindly or be naiive about those people that may hurt you but more about choosing to trust yourself in the situation. Trust your guidance, your intuition, your knowing. This is the source if true power.

Our relationship of trusting ourselves impacts the way we relate with others in the world.

Learn to trust yourself. You have all the answers and support you need.

We live in a society that judges selfishness yet it is the very thing needed to help heal ourselves.

10460713_867880959936797_7387232919375072924_nBefore I get lynched let me help clear up what I mean by selfish. I am not referring to self - absorption where you only care for yourself at the detriment of others. By selfish I am referring to taking care of yourself first so that you are able to give to others from a place of self - love and care. The opposite extreme to self - absorption is selfless - ness. This is where we are so busy taking care of everyone else we put ourselves last leading to burn out, guilt, resentment and never feeling good enough.

Putting yourself and your needs first, loving yourself enough to take care of yourself so that you are fueled by love, joy and peace as you take care of others is not selfish it is vital to living a healthy life...

So go ahead, today say no and do something for yourself first. Love yourself first. Be selfish.

10897902_869969006394659_8726647209957382820_nWhen we choose to operate from a place of Love, the universe responds with more love. So many of us make choices based on fear, mistrust, insecurity, control, revenge, justification even hatred.

I long for a life and a society that can make love the core driver of interactions.

If we can learn to lead with love, we could love ourselves more, we could be less judgemental, we could treat others with kindness, we could heal our lives. Even when in pain, even when you been hurt, even when you need to improve your boundaries make love the core.

10968406_870870542971172_293712546282027915_nAcceptance is the key to personal power, growth, change, forgiveness and freedom.

Acceptance is not approving, condoning or even understanding. It is the ability to be present to reality and to see things, events and people as they are.
It is what it is .... not right, not wrong .... just it is what it is.

So many of us are holding onto past events, pain and hurt because what happened was wrong or not fair or bad. Acceptance doesn't take that away it just allows us to release the hold that this pain has on us and start to heal.

What are you fighting? What do you need to just accept so that you can free yourself to move on?

10991157_872951892763037_1809750847809665508_nWe invest so much energy in trying to control our lives. We think that we are able to limit our fear, vulnerability and risk of getting hurt by always being in control. The reality is the we invest a lot of time and energy fighting. Fighting to make things right, fighting to make things fair. Working so hard to make things the way we think they should be.

In this way we rob ourselves of the joy of the moment, of the opportunities that present themselves to us. To the magic of this life.
The only thing we can control is our response to life and to the world. The rest is not our problem :).

Learning to trust life and ourselves and the wisdom that comes from our soul is key to a joy if peace, love and joy.

No matter how much you want to be, you are not in control.

A lesson I continue to learn daily 🙂
